As part of our donation we had organised beforehand a joint art project with the year sevens and eights in the school. The students were to produce works of art on the subject of “reverse vending systems – their contribution towards protecting our planet”. This covered topics such as the environment, conservation and recycling in conjunction with reverse vending systems and the deposit return system. From the creations produced we have designed a customised branding for the machine.

We were able to officially hand over the reverse vending machine on 24.4.2024. We want to thank the students for their outstanding work and are extremely happy that Sielaff has been able to contribute towards promoting environmental awareness and sustainability in the school.

In conjunction with the municipal gardens in Herrieden and the headteacher of the secondary school we also planted a black walnut tree outside.
